Dear Mr. Smith:

I am writing in response to your  podcast about Shelton on June 30, 2007 and the writings on your web site describing Mr. Hufschmid's discussion with "Linda".

I must demand that you immediately retract on your web site the inflammatory and slanderous statements that you made.  You know NOTHING about me except that I attended 2 and not all 4 days of the trial, obtained notes from others who attended the first two days, observed the trial of Mr. Bollyn and wrote about it on Rumor Mill News.

To imply that I am a Zionist or other secret agent, that I had anything to do with Mr. Bollyn choosing to flee from sentencing, to imply that Mr. Bollyn is dead or his family is harmed and that I am involved, to say that I am unreliable or have anything to do with the writings on his web site (except for the fact he quoted my writings) reveals that you are either seriously delusional and a potentially dangerous psychotic, or are intentionally making up fantastic stories as a con man for profit.  The one thing I am known for well is being blunt and extremely fair and honest, as well as having an unusual and self-taught understanding of the law and of corruption in Illinois and Cook County.

I believe that your writings and statements are cause of action for a suit for defamation of character and for an order of protection against you, as well as reason to call authorities and have you charged and arrested for inciting threatening action against me.  Your podcast had veiled urgings to your audience to go after me. I have no control over Mr. Bollyn and his choice whether to contact you or not is just that - his choice. I am holding off on these actions, in order to give you the opportunity to forcefully withdraw your statements and accusations publicly. I will give you only one chance in this regard.

I have asked persons in Chicago, whom I casually know, that have some contact with you both, if you both live anywhere near the Chicago area, if you are mentally ill or have a violent history, and if I need to immediately consider you a dangerous person and therefore immediately call the police. I have also asked this question of Mr. Bollyn by e-mail. They have all expressed the opinion that you are no where near me and that I am not in immediate danger.

Mr. Hufschmid called me a few months ago and frankly was rude and inappropriate. His conversation with me made me believe he is a flaming lunatic.  I wish no contact with such persons.  I know very little about you or Mr. Hufschmid, mostly from recently glancing at some writings on your web site after another person suggested I listen to your podcast, but this limited experience with his your fantastic tales convinces me that I do not want any contact with such con men.  In history there have been many who spin fantastic tales, ask for donations, and con people into supporting them.

As to my beliefs about 911 - they are mine and I do not wish to share them with you, other than to say I partially agree with Mr. Bollyn's writings on this topic and partially disagree with him.  I consider him a talented writer, a brutally honest person, a fellow dissident, a devoted father and husband, and a budding investigative reporter.

If you do not immediately retract all that you have said about me, by stating that you MADE IT ALL UP AND HAVE NO PERSONAL KNOWLEDGE OF MY RELIGION, MY CONNECTION WITH MR. BOLLYN OTHER THAN THE ABOVE, MY INTERESTS, MY BELIEFS, MY SKILLS, MY KNOWLEDGE, OR MY ACTIONS IN LIFE, I will strongly consider filing a suit against both of you for defamation of character and ask the FBI to investigate your threats (through your audience) against me personally, as well as seek a court order for injunction against your slander, defamation, and threats.  I understand you are in France and I will be contacting French authorities regarding the above if I do not immediately (within a week) see that the above demand is honored.

I will not allow you, under any circumstance, to continue your baseless attacks against me, or in the public arena of the Internet suggest harm to me.
